Visit Iran 2016
Are you planning the family vacation of a lifetime? Visit IRAN as an educational, fun, and exotic family destination for 2016.
Some trips are easy to plan and take – West coast USA road trip? Easy Squeezy! London-Paris-Rome? Super Easy! Travelers take these trips every single year and LOVE it. But once you have done the ‘easy’ trips…. Do you long to see more of the world? As you see history in front of you do you long to see even earlier examples? Are you looking for the missing pieces of history from what you have seen already? Do you long for the exotic? Fascinating? Truly off the beaten path? Visit Iran in 2016!
If you do, then a trip to Iran trip is for you. Yes, visit Iran. It is peaceful, interesting, historical, and beautiful.

What about safety when you visit Iran?
Iran is safer, in terms of street crime, than ANY place in Europe. Yes, we all saw the movie, “Not without my daughter” with Sally Field, but that was released in 1991!! Things change! Do not let really old ideas and attitudes dictate your family’s exploration of the world. Visiting Iran is a perfect way to teach the kids that very thing – the world is a fluid and ever changing place. What was once scary now is not.
See what Rick Steves, the travel guru himself, has to say about Iran: No Credit Cards, Alcohol,….or Urinals.
Lonely Planet has a book on Iran, too.
Worry about being a woman and traveling to Iran?
Women have to cover their hair…and judging from the photographs..not even all of their hair. See these photographs from the last trip to Iran to see how a contemporary woman dresses. Pants, tennis shoes? She could be anywhere dressed like that!
See how only the back of her hair is covered? Looks like the answer to a bad hair day to me and a wonderful way to wear a colorful scarf.
