Simplify:

\(4\frac{1}{3} - 2\frac{1}{4} +(-3\frac{1}{2}- 1\frac{1}{3})\)

- - 11/4
- 4/11
- 2/7
- 8/5

Option 1 : - 11/4

**Calculation:**

\(4\frac{1}{3} - 2\frac{1}{4} +(-3\frac{1}{2}- 1\frac{1}{3})\)

⇒ 13/3 - 9/4 + (-7/2 - 4/3)

LCM of 3, 4, 2 and 3 is 12

⇒ (52 - 27)/12 + {(-21 - 8)/6}

⇒ 25/12 + (-29/6)

⇒ (25 - 58)/12

⇒ -33/12

∴ -11/4

The correct option is 1 i.e. -11/4
