Sorella Swim – REVIEW
Remember lounging by the pool? Sipping drinks with umbrellas and gazing over perfectly painted toes at the ocean? That was before kids….Now as a mom your days at the pool and the beach are a LOT busier! Chasing kids, wrestling sunscreen, retrieving pool toys, and playing referee….”Watch me, Mommy!” or wading around in the pool with one kiddo on your hip and another kiddo nearby…
Your pre – baby swim suit isn’t the suit you need anymore either. NOT because your body has changed (but if it has I won’t judge!) but because your needs have changed. Moms need serious swim suit attire. Moms need LOTS of lycra to help with kiddos tugging and to be sure that everything stays put while chasing kiddos AND we moms want to look good! We need fashion! We want sexy – but still g-rated for the kiddie pool time. We want to look GOOD! That is a tall order, but not too tall….
Meet Sorella Swimwear. I was delighted to get the chance to try out this swimwear. I hate swimsuit shopping – don’t you? Putting on suit after suit under those glaring lights in the dressing room that someone make everyone feel….ugly. Who designs fitting rooms anyway!!?? (Note to self: in my next life I will design dressing rooms with lighting, etc. that makes women feel pretty…)
Sorella swim was designed by Jessica Petersen to provide women with timeless, classic, swimwear with high quality and high fashion and the feel of high quality lycra in a circular knit. Designs are for women of all shapes and sizes. I love the nod to Old Hollywood glamour!
Forget the fitting room and the ugly lights. Take a few measurements in the privacy of your own closet, where the lights make you LOOK as beautiful as you FEEL. You can mix and match the tops and bottoms to get the perfect look, the perfect fit, and the perfect mix of showing off and covering up. Choose the perfect combo, click and relax!
I chose the Vixen Bikini top in black. It fits great and I love the extra lycra!
It comes in other fantastic colors.
I chose the Brigitte swim bottom in black. I was surprised to find that the side ties are not just for show – you can make it looser or tighter as you like. These suits are all tie closures…a little tighter when you need the snug feeling and a little looser when you’ve eaten more of the kids’ leftovers than you thought. 😉 We won’t judge here.
Whether you need a swimsuit for the neighborhood pool or for a glamorous Greek isle cruise….you need to check this swimsuit brand.
